General thoughts on cutover toolset
Some preliminary questions need to be evaluated:
o What are the general requirements for this specific cutover tool (based on the cutover strategy)?
o Structure: one single plan with all tasks vs. dedicated plans per affiliate synchronized on milestones?
o Central handling vs. local handling by affiliate project managers        

Tool selection
o What tools are available in the customers project management environment?
o I have good experiences with Microsoft project online 
   (capable to manage a truly global cutover with a dedicated cutover plan for some 100 affiliates managed by some 200 project managers and in total 10.000 tasks)

o Evaluate inhouse know how & capacities and plan required third party support.

Tool setup
o Define required cutover tool landscape (DEV / Prod).
o Setup and approve prototype 
o Prepare for reporting requirements
o Prepare upload of KeyDateLists.

Tool training
o Prepare a tool training for different audiences: PMO, project managers, Task assignees.
o Execute trainings for FDR participants.
o Finetune & execute training for remaining final cutover participants.
